VISUAL ART

We are proud to present the creative works of Semester One students in Art 10 (both 3 & 5 credit classes,) Art 20, Art 30, and 30 I.B ! These students

explored a variety of media, including: graphite, charcoal, ink, watercolor,  linocut, oil pastel, acrylic and oil paint, clay, and wire. Students investigated Canadian and international artists, both contemporary and historical whilst developing one's own practice.

This led to the creation of many highly personalized works! Students learned about the ways culture and context influence the practice of the artist and how examining one's own context and interests allows for us to develop an authentic body of work.

We thank every art student who shared their journey of learning and self expression with us! It's been a pleasure!
